New Christian Book Releases for October 2021
These are full price, brand new books I didn’t want you to miss out on.
Christian Book News
I’m sorry this post ran late this week. Yesterday was pretty busy and I decided to forgive myself rather than killing myself to get it done on time.
The news this week? I found the official movie trailer for the new movie based on Francine Rivers’ Redeeming Love. It’s pretty intense. I almost cried watching the trailer so I’m not sure if I can handle the movie or not. Loved the book, though. Definitely a classic. The movie version is set to release January, 2022.
I’ve also mentioned God’s Not Dead a lot in this blog segment so I’ll let you know the news on that one, too. It’s currently a PureFlix exclusive but will release to Amazon Video and DVD December 7. It’s available now for preorder, though. This one will make movie #4 in the series and centers around homeschooling rights. My daughter is a big fan and we’ll be ordering that one on DVD for Christmas.
In other news, I think the Christy Award winners will be announced soon and I’ll try to link to those next week.
Discussion Topic of the Week
The longer I run this site the more I’m seeing the need for Christian book reviews people can trust. As Christian readers, we’re looking for more than just “clean” books to entertain us for a few hours. We want Christian authors we can follow and feel good about supporting. I’m going to have to find a way to post more reviews on this site. (That’s going to be my biggest goal for Christian Book Finds in 2022.) So this week’s discussion question is, where do you go now to get Christian book recommendations you can trust?
