If you liked Narnia, but now want more…
ENGAGING CHRISTIAN MIDDLE GRADE & TEEN ADVENTURE FANTASY
Like all young teens, Isaac, Zac, and Breezy just want some adventure as they explore the backwoods. But when they discover a strange yet beautiful stone pillar, they are soon running for their lives. Ruthlessly hunted in a mysterious world of peculiar people, fearsome creatures, and unnatural forces, they become entwined in an ancient and desperate quest. Together with their new friends, including Nusa—a large lynx-like creature, they courageously battle over land and sea, forcing them into a timeless war where they must confront the immortal evil personified as Lord Sasson. Fighting to stay alive, hoping to return home, they learn who they really are and the sacrifices they must make.
A story of strength and courage, endurance and faith, friendship and trust, Tombs of Dross will ignite the adventurous in both young and old alike.
In Tombs of Dross you’ll join the heart-warming journey as they seek out forbidden mysteries, build deep friendships, learn their awakening powers and who they were born to be. A gripping adventure of trust, perseverance, and hope in the face of an ever-encroaching darkness.
“Hope… and a good weapon… still be better than surrender.” —Alle-Encer
Note to Parents:
I wrote the Lorian Stones Trilogy as a Christian alternative for upper middle grade & teens (including my own children) seeking adventure fantasy without a focus on magic. Swords and bows replace spells and wizardry; perseverance, trust, and hope in the darkest hour prevail as themes throughout. The books are very action based, while conveying moral themes. Intensity level is PG, with suggested age from 10 on up. Readers have suggested the series sits between Narnia and The Lord of the Rings.
★★★★★ “A fantastic adventure for any age reader.”
