Samson Renegade has been running from the law since he shot a man at age sixteen. Raised in a family of well-known outlaws, his future was decided for him before he could walk. Destined to follow in his father’s footsteps, he’ll probably die, one day, hanging from a rope.
But not for whatever happened in El Paso.
Riding south to clear his name, he narrowly escapes one of the area’s toughest lawmen when the sheriff’s beautiful daughter stumbles in his path. Yet, though she’s his ticket out of town, the deeper they ride into the desert, the more it seems his biggest mistake, and the one that will prove his final downfall, is the state of his heart.

Christmas Q&A with the Author, Suzanne D. Williams
What was your favorite Christmas tradition as a child?
My mom’s family always got together Christmas Day evening. I looked forward to that the most because my Grandmother Hudson was my favorite person.
If you had one, what would you like to get in your stocking this year?
We don’t do stockings, but a thousand bucks would do.
How do you keep Christ in Christmas?
Christ is in my everyday, not just Christmas. But I try to watch a Nativity movie or something Christ-centered to remember the holiday. Or I might read the passage in Luke. My grandfather used to read that to us (dad’s dad) every time they got together.
