Aiylin Miller is content working for her father in his workshop and secretly composing her music, but the Lord has other plans.
Sebastian Becker is visiting his mother for Christmas with his six-year-old daughter. He promised her a magical holiday, but he has no idea that the blizzard is blowing in more than snow.
Six-year-old Tinley has a plan. With some help from her Grandmother and a magical lantern all her wishes are about to come true.
Wonderful Christmas story full of faith and Christmas magic, though not in the way might expect..”She confidently trusts the Lord to take care of her”, Psalm 112: 7. The Lord blesses and sometimes it takes years, but when he moves the windfall of blessings will stagger you!
So many stories are woven together in this book: a secret wedding, an unwanted suitor, mistaken identities, an exciting party and a snowstorm, as well as a special Christmas wish and a powerful new love. Through all the twists, turns and surprises, a truly wonderful story emerges. Loved this book.
Christmas Q&A with the Author, Lynn Landes
What’s the best – or worst – Christmas present you’ve ever received?
The best Christmas present was my first 35mm camera. I was in high school and taking a photography class, learning how to develop film and I loved it! I was begging for a 35 mm Pentax camera. My parents had to sit me down and explain that they couldn’t afford it that year. I’m one of five children and they were so upset, but I stuffed down my disappointment and said I understood. Secretly I was crushed. Christmas morning after all the presents were open they stopped me and my Grandmother handed me a present. It was the camera! My Gran had paid for half, allowing for the surprise! I cherish that memory and the camera!
What holiday movie or special do you watch over and over again?
My favorite holiday movie is Elf. I know… don’t say it, what can I say. It makes me laugh. I was heavily pregnant with my second child and watched it with my seven-year-old son and we laughed and laughed. It’s a cherished memory, drinking hot chocolate and laughing with my son.
What one thing are you most grateful for this holiday season?
I am most grateful for God’s grace in my life. I look at my husband and best friend, my children and this life which allows me to do what I love to do and I’m stunned by the windfall of his blessings.
Describe your favorite holiday candy or baked treat, but don’t name it.
